Bach Styling for Summer
Summer is here and if you are like me, you are hanging out until February, for some stable weather. I, unfortunately, did not plan ahead and spent most of my Christmas and New Year’s break with my whanau, in-doors as it was not overly pleasant outside, especially with that New Year’s mini cyclone we had.
However I am looking forward to getting a little holidaying in before summer is over and if you are like me, you want to do it in style! If you are lucky enough to own (or even manage to rent out) your own piece of summer paradise, then you want easy care yet beautiful bed linen and accessories. So after a long day at the beach you can come back and relax in luxury.
Today I am giving my top recommendations to style your lake, forest or typical kiwi beach bach bed!
Let’s start with the Duvet Covers. You don’t need anything particularly fancy with gold and silver details, as this is not your typical master bedroom. With the Bach Bed, you want it to reflect your surroundings, brighten up the bedroom space and most of all you want it to be easy care. Because who has time for carefully hand washing your beautiful and expensive duvet covers while you’re on holiday. Not me that’s for sure!
I have chosen four different duvets. Two that reflect a forest/lake bach and the other two that reflect a beach bach. Can you guess which one is which?
Top Left: Whitsunday Teal Duvet Cover Set
Top Right: Calippo Teal Duvet Cover Set
Bottom Left: Norfolk Teal Duvet Cover Set
Bottom Right: Amalfi Navy Duvet Cover Set
Now for accessories, you want something that is versatile and something that can go on a bed but can also work on a lounge couch. By doing this you are able to dress up whichever room you need to at the time, without having too many accessories under one roof. Because unless you live in your bach full-time (let’s be real) you don’t need an abundance of cushions lying around everywhere making the place look nice.
Here are my top picks that can go in any bach!
1st Row Right: Panama Natural Square Cushion
2nd Row Left: Tarro Blue Square Cushion
2nd Row Right: Quay navy Square Cushion
3rd Row Left: Brody Emerald Square Cushion
3rd Row Right: Langley Linen Throw
